Snow Impacts

There is no school for Jefferson County 509-J or South Wasco County Schools today (Thursday, December 15, 2016) as Central Oregon digs out from heavy snow that fell over the past 24 hours.  All Central Oregon schools will remain closed today for a second day.

Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs and Bureau of Indian Affairs offices will remain closed today as snow removal efforts continue.  The Warm Springs Indian Health Services Clinic will also remain closed today.

State of Oregon State agencies are closed today in Crook, Deschutes, Gilliam, Grant, Harney, Jefferson, Sherman, and Wasco counties.

In Warm Springs, primary routes are plowed this morning but secondary roads and especially driveways and parking lots have more than a foot of snow.
