  • The Museum at Warm Springs’ “You Had Me at Hello” Valentine’s Day Lunch & Sale is happening from 10:00 am to 3:30 pm today. They have artwork for sale by local artists, a lunch for $5, a raffle and free admission. Interested vendors can call 541-553-3331 to sign up.
  • Today’s fitness schedule: Senior Fitness Class at 10:45 at the Senior Center, at 12:10 there is Functional Fitness Class in the aerobics room and Pi-Yo class at the clinic atrium and an afternoon Turbo Kick class at 4:00. There is Ladies Night Basketball at 6:00.
  • At the Warm Springs Senior program today – fitness class participants are invited to eat.  On the Menu Today: Vegetable Tuna Wrap
  • Women’s Group meets this afternoon at 1:00 at the Behavioral Health Center. Also today is Anger Management at 3:30, Wellbriety at 5:15 and an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting at 7:00 this evening.
  • Conscious Discipline Skill Building Class is this afternoon from 1:30 to 3:00 at ECE in room 2E. Its open to the community.
  • There is Warm Springs Christian Fellowship this evening at 6 at High Lookee Lodge.
  • The Warm Springs Baptist Church has Bible Study and Prayer this evening at 6:00.
  • Eagle Crossing Restaurant is closed this week for repairs to the building.

 Thursday 2/15

  • The Water Control Board will meet tomorrow from 1-3:00 at the Natural Resources Cougar Den.
  • Warm Springs K8 Girls Basketball hosts Obsidian tomorrow. 7th grade plays at 4:00, 8th grade at 5.
  • OSU Extension is seeking volunteers for its Master Food Preserver Program. Volunteers help folks make safe food preservation choices. Crook, Deschutes, Jefferson, Wheeler and Warm Springs Extension offices are recruiting applicants to participate in 48 hours of in-depth food safety and preservation training on Tuesdays April 10-May 29.   • A kick-off event for Jefferson County Relay for Life is at the Madras-Jefferson County Chamber Business after Hours gathering tomorrow at 5:30pm at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds in the Mackie Conroy building. Everyone is invited to attend and learn more about the Relay for Life – which will be held this year on July 14th and 15th at the fairgrounds.

Warm Springs Recreation’s Sweetheart Baby Fair will be held Thursday, February 22nd from 5-7:00 pm at the Community Center Social Hall.  There will be a family photo shoot, door prizes, great information and a light dinner. There will be activities for kids 5 and under, a regalia fashion show and a baby board gallery.

The Warm Springs Community Action Team AARP Tax Aide Site is offering free tax preparation and filing on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  To make an appointment – call 541-553-3148.

The Warm Springs Ski Day at Mt. Hood Meadows is set for Monday March 5th – which is a no school day.  Transportation, Rentals, Lessons & Lunch will all be provided by Mt.
