It was back to school today (9/6/17) in the Jefferson County 509-J School District. At the Warm Springs K-8 Academy students already put in 7 days of class in August. K8 Principal (and 509J superintendent) said recess would be indoors today due to heavy smoke. To get caught up with Parshall – you can listen to last week’s Warm Springs Program https://kwso.org/2017/09/warm-springs-program-back-to-school-2017/.
Last week the Warm Springs Community gathered for the annual Back to School BBQ. Nearly 1000 people attended and enjoyed a meal, time with family, friends, teachers & school staff. There was a resource fair and also a Back to School Walk around the track for raffle prizes. It’s going to be a great school year!
