The Meth & Opiate Working Group and the Recreation Program have teamed up for National Sexual Assault Awareness & child Abuse Prevention Month to put on the Resortation Relay. It is a 12-mile relay where teams of three will make the trek from Kahneeta to the campus in Warm springs. It is this Saturday. Registration will start at 6:15am at the Village Gate. There will be an opening prayer and speaker and then the relay will get underway at 7:00. The finish line will be at the Victims of Crime office. After, participants are invited to join in the Veteran’s Parade. Abuse is preventable and this is one event to bring awareness, and show support to all victims.

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump’s ban on travelers from mostly Muslim countries will be the focus of the Supreme Court’s last arguments this term. The justices will hear from lawyers today on the administration’s request to reverse lower court rulings striking down the ban. The policy has been fully in effect since December.

SAN DIEGO (AP) — A federal judge ruled that the Trump administration must resume a program that has shielded hundreds of thousands of young immigrants from deportation but gave it 90 days to restate its arguments before his order takes effect. The ruling by U.S. District Judge John D. Bates would go far beyond nationwide injunctions that forced the administration to accept requests for renewals under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program.
