Mt. Hood Meadows WS Day – Feb. 2, 2026

KWSO’s annual Mt. Hood Meadows – Warm Springs Tribal Day is coming up Monday February 2, 2026, a no school day.  Anyone interested in participating to ski, snowboard, cross country ski, or snowshoe can sign up now.

Here are the details:

OPTIONS FOR THIS EVENT INCLUDE:

• Skiing
• Snowboarding
• Nordic/Cross Country Skiing
• Snowshoeing

To sign up you must:

• Email matters@wstribes.org with the name, date of birth, & contact information (phone number and email address) for each person who will be participating and will anyone, age 4 or older, need a beginner lesson?
• Complete the online liability release form for each participant, which can be found here:https://www.skihood.com/agreements/ticket-release
• Complete and return a Group Consent Form for each participant. Make sure it is completed legibly, in full, with all the details. Group Consent Form 2025-2026

DETAILS

BUS RIDERS – the Mt. Hood Meadows Bus will arrive at the Warm Springs Community Center at 6:45am for a 7:15am departure. Please be on time. Call 541- 460-2255 by 7:00am if you are cancelling or running late.

DRIVERS –you need an ODOT sno-park permit to park in any of the parking lots. (available online https://www.tripcheck.com/Pages/Sno-Parks-Permits or at Vendors)

Meet at Mt. Hood Meadows at 8:30am in the FreeRide room (North lodge, 2nd floor, next to Fresh Tracks).

Check in at the FreeRide room with coordinators Sue, Rachel, or Heidi for:

• Lift Ticket pass
• Equipment Rental Instructions
• Beginner Lessons
• Schedule instructions

 Lunch will be served at 12:00pm in the FreeRide room.

BUS RIDERS – Check back in at 3pm to return equipment to the Sahale rental center and return your lift ticket.  Board the Mt. Hood Meadows bus to return to Warm Springs at 3:15pm.  Bus should arrive back at the Warm Springs Community Center around 4pm.
