The Hydro Panel Facility in the Industrial Park is open today for free drinking water. Warm Springs community members can stop by between 8am and 5pm to fill their containers.
The Timber Committee and the Land Use Planning Committee both meet on the 2nd & 4th Mondays of the month. They have meetings scheduled today. The Timber Committee meets this morning from 8:30-noon at the Forestry Admin Office. The Land Use Planning Committee will meet from 1:30-4:30 in the cougar Den at Natural Resources.
On the Tribal Council Agenda: This morning – Warm Springs Local Housing Authority; Warm Springs Timber LLC; and High Lookee Lodge. This afternoon – Warm Springs Economic Development; Range & Ag Committee; and Off Reservation Fish & Wildlife Committee.
Senior Fitness Class at the Senior Center is every Monday and Thursday morning at 10:45 with a lunch for participants after.
Warm Springs K8 Girls Basketball teams have home games vs. Elton Gregory this afternoon.
The Native Language Classes being offered at Warm Springs K-8 Academy after school program have been opened up to anyone in the community. Families are encouraged to join as a group. Children should be accompanied by an adult. Individuals are also welcome. Kiksht & Ichishkiin Language Classes are taught bay Radine & Ange on Tuesdays and Thursdays 4:30-5:30 at the K8. The Warm Springs Health & Wellness Center’s Employee Appreciation Committee is having a Valentine’s Day Basket Silent Auction in Pod A Wednesday 9am to 3:30pm. Everyone is welcome to place bids.
Warm Springs Prevention will have Valentine’s Day Bingo Wednesday 6-8pm at the Simnasho Longhouse. Dinner and prizes will be provided.
2026 Lincoln’s Powwow is February 13-15 at the Simnasho Longhouse. Grand entry times are 7pm Friday, 1pm Saturday and 1:30 on Sunday. A free Suicide Prevention & Education training for Warm Springs community will be held Monday, February 16th 6-7:30pm in the old school cafeteria. Participants will learn how to recognize the warning signs and what you can do to help. Register at the Warm Springs Prevention or Lines for Life Office. Community meetings to learn about a reservation-based drone testing site opportunity with Zipline have been scheduled for February 17, 18 & 19. Warm Springs Economic Development is seeking community input. The meetings will be 6-8pm on February 17th at the Seekseequa Fire Hall, February 18th at the Agency Longhouse and February 19th at the Simnasho Longhouse. Light dinners will be provided.
The next KWSO Community Advisory Board meeting will be Friday, February 20, 2026 at 10:30am at the Warm Springs Media Center. On the Agenda: Update on Funding, Information Ecosystem Assessment, Our 2026 Focus, Input & Feedback Discussions. The annual meeting is open to the public.
The Community Health Program is having an Elder’s Fair on March 25th 9am to 3pm in the old school gym. There will be bingo & raffle prizes for participants from 10am until noon, and at noon a lunch will be provided in the old cafeteria. Dr. Morgon from OHSU will provide education on brain health, psychosis, aggressing & wandering in older adults with dementia from 1:30-3. Motorists are encouraged to reduce speed in areas where there is a lot of pedestrian traffic or bike traffic after dark. Going slower is one way to ensure the safety of those folks walking and biking. Stay safe out there.
