The Warm Springs Presbyterian Church is inviting people to join for worship this morning at 10. There will be a potluck and food following the worship services.
The Simnasho Tribal Market is open today 10am – 2pm. It’s every Saturday & Sunday through Labor Day weekend, by the Simnasho Longhouse. Tribal Vendors are welcome and visitors are encouraged. You can contact Howie or Delson to learn more.
The 5th Annual “Honoring All Head Start to College Graduates” Warm Springs Community Parade is happening this morning at 11. It will start at the old elementary and end at the Community Center. Show your support by lining the parade route to cheer on the graduates. Decorations will be provided for those who need them. Gas cards will be given to the first 20 vehicles
On Monday, June 8th at the Warm Springs K-8 Academy, all grade levels will rotate through various field day activity stations. Many of the stations will be outside. It is helpful if students have a bottle of water and clothes they can move around in and will be fine if they get wet.
There is Tai Chi class on Monday, June 8th from 6-7pm in the Community Center aerobics room. It’s free and all skill levels are welcome.
The Warm Springs K-8 Academy End of School Year Powwow will be held on Tuesday, June 9th at 9:30am on the football field. All dancers & drummers are welcome.
ECE Head Start Graduation Day is Tuesday, June 9th starting at 10:30am at the Agency Longhouse.
SriPonya Collective / Youth in Progress will have a summer kick-off on Thursday, June 11th from noon to 3 for youth and families. They will have games, music, and food in the parking lot behind their building at 29 SE D St in Madras.
A memorial and headstone dedication for Trayce Sam-Smith, son of Mileena Edwards & Troy Sam-Smith, will take place on Saturday, June 20th. Meet at the Agency Cemetery at 9am and then to the Agency Longhouse for one seven. Rejoining, giveaway and a meal will follow. Everyone is welcome.
The 2026 Pi-Ume-Sha Traditional Parade “Honoring the Horses” will be held on Saturday, June 27th. Lineup for participants will start at 10am with judging at 10:15. The parade begins at 11 at the campus and ends at the powwow grounds. Divisions for judging will be adult, teen and youth in these categories – walkers, traditional floats, contemporary floats & horse riders. The Community Wellness Center is taking signups for its Wilderness Warriors Hiking Club. Throughout the summer break they will host a series of 8 trails both on and off the reservation. The club is for participants 10 and older. They are currently doing hikes every Monday & Tuesday for local trail hikes to prepare for the longer summer hikes.
