Funeral Arrangements for Roma David – Wednesday (Jun 10) They will depart from Autumn Funeral Home at noon and go to the Agency Longhouse for dressing at 1. A meal and services will follow. Thursday (Jun 11) they will depart at 5am and go to the Simnasho Cemetery for burial. They will return to the Agency Longhouse after for ceremonies and a meal.
The Warm Springs Vital Stats office in the Tribal Administration Building is closed on Wednesdays to allow staff to address a backlog of work. This schedule will remain in effect through July 8th. The best way to contact Vital Stats is to stop by (except on Wednesday) or email vitalstats@wstribes.org.
The Warm Springs Boys & Girls Club is closed today through Friday for staff training. The summer program starts on Monday, June 15 and it will run weekdays 8-5. No meals will be provided in June. Youth must bring their own breakfast & lunch. The 509J Summer Meals Program will start on July 6th. The club will be closed on June 19th for the Juneteenth Holiday.
Cascades East Transit is hosting a pop-event today to assist Warm Springs residents with account pass sign-ups and lost transit card replacements. Representatives will be at the Family Resource Center from 9am until noon.
Today is Warm Springs Tribal Appreciation Day at Kah-Nee-Ta Resort. There is free admission for day use from 11am to 7pm. Included in the day pass – use of swimming pools, mini-golf, pickleball, basketball, bocce ball, spike ball, 4-square volleyball and interactive video games. Discounts are also offered on cabana rentals, food in the restaurant and purchases at the pool house store. Warm Springs Tribal Appreciation Days are open to tribal members, spouses, Warm Springs residents and tribal enterprise employees. Warm Springs Tribal Appreciation Days at Kah-Nee-Ta Resort are held every other Wednesday through September.
The Wyam Youth Center is hosting an event this evening in honor of LaRonn Katchia and his recent Emmy wins. They will screen his film Guardian of the Land. The event begins at 6pm and seating is limited so show up early. They will have light snacks, drinks and cake.
Today is the Free Food Market at the Madras Community Food Pantry, located at 370 SW Culver Highway. Signups will begin at 4 and doors open at 4:30
The Behavioral Health Center in Warm Springs offers an A&D Education Group every Wednesday morning at 10 that is open to anyone. Classes for current BHC clients on Wednesdays are Parenting at 11am, Adult Anger Management at 3 and a Men’s Focus Group at 4. Contact the BHC office for more information. The Warm Springs Behavioral Health Center will be closed on Thursday (Jun 11) for staff training.
The Warm Springs Health & Wellness Center is hosting a panel of community members who have successfully lost weight with Wegovy and Ozempic. People who are interested in losing weight or becoming healthier and would like to hear their personal stories and insights are welcome to attend. It’s today from 5-7pm in the clinic atrium. Healthy snacks will be provided.
A public meeting for information about CCDF will be held tomorrow (Jun 11) at 5:30 at ECE. A light meal will be provided.
SriPonya Collective / Youth in Progress will have a summer kick-off event tomorrow (Jun 11) from noon to 3 for youth and families. They will have games, music, and food in the parking lot behind their building at 29 SE D St in Madras.
Warm Springs Diabetes Prevention invites youth to participate in its Strong Youth Wellness & Fitness Program. Starting June 16th, every Tuesday & Wednesday they will have fun daily workouts & games, team challenges & competitions, nutrition & health education and more. 3rd-5th grade youth will be from 1-3pm and grades 6-8 from 3:30-5:30. Legends Reloaded, an event coming to the Jefferson County Event Complex June 19-20, celebrates the music of rock’s most iconic artists. The 2026 lineup features tributes to Fleetwood Mac, The Eagles, Tom Petty, Heart, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Led Zeppelin, ZZ Top, Bad Company, Hall & Oates, the Doobie Brothers, and The Allman Brothers Band. A Warm Springs Tribal Community Energy Fair will be held Tuesday, June 23rd 9am to 3pm at the campus pavilion. The event will include interactive energy-focused activities & giveaways, tips, educational opportunities, info on the Tribes’ current & potential energy projects and more. Raffle prizes, including e-bikes & kids-only giveaways, free meals provided by local food carts & home efficiency & weatherization supply giveaways will be available on a limited basis.

The Simnasho Tribal Market is open Saturdays and Sundays 10am – 2pm through Labor Day weekend, by the Simnasho Longhouse. Tribal Vendors are welcome and visitors are encouraged. You can contact Howie Patt or Delson Suppah to learn more.
ECE is now accepting school age children ages 6 and 7, covering Kindergarten and 1st grade for the 2025-26 School year. Parents will need to download the Brightwheel app.
