Three important Public Notices went out to the community for Warm Springs Tribal Members today at 1:30 PM.

Tribal Offices Closure for today 07/27/26 & Tomorrow 07/28/26 

1: All local Tribal Government offices will remain closed on Tuesday, July 27th. Additionally, this follows into tomorrow for July 28th as well due to the level 3 fire evacuation still in effect on the Seekseequa and Agency Areas of Warm Springs, Oregon.

All full-time, part-time and limited duration employees will be authorized to use up to 8 hours of Administrative Leave on Tuesday, July 28th. Tuesday afternoon, Tribal leadership will assess the fire threat and evacuation level to determine if Wednesday, July 29th, that local offices will resume normal work hours.

Essential staff will be required to continue with their regular work schedules for the day.

Emergency Water Conservation Order Effective Immediately

2: Warm Springs Agency Water Reservoirs are under high demand so an Emergency Water Conservation Order has been put into effect immediately.

The order is asking to limit high consumption usage such as watering lawns, washing cars and livestock tanks.

The Agency Water Reservoirs are currently struggling with transferring the water from one zone to the next due to the extreme high demand.

Public Utilities water/wastewater department has been working diligently to ensure that tank levels are at capacity.

Areas affected include:

Culpus Ranch; Sunny Side; Wolfe Point; Dry Creek; Industrial Park; Miller Heights; Warm Springs Campus; HWY 26 Corridor; Greeley Heights; Trailer Courts; Tenino Apts; Tenino Valley; and West Hills.

Boil Water Notice Effective Immediately

3: A Public Notice has been issued to boil water. It’s precautionary only due to possible low/no water pressure in the system south of Shitike Creek.

Areas affected include:

Culpus Ranch; Sunny Side; Wolfe Point; Dry Creek; Industrial Park; Miller Heights; Warm Springs Campus; HWY 26 Corridor; Greeley Heights; Trailer Courts; Tenino Apts; Tenino Valley; and West HIlls.
