Warm Springs Fire Impacts

Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs Tribal Government offices will be shut down on Monday July 27, 2026 due to the Level 3 evacuation notice that is currently in effect due to Bench and Beachcomb Wildfires, impacting reservation areas from Seekseequa to Agency.

In a memo MEMO issued by Edward Henderson, Secretary-Treasurer/CEO states that all full-time, part-time and limited duration employees will be authorized to use up to 8 hours of Administrative Leave for the day.  Essential staff will work as usual.

• The Warm Springs Indian Health Service Clinic initially planned to be open for basic care on Monday, July 27, 2026, however the Clinic will be closed with the facility located in the Level 3 Evacuation Zone.
• The Boys & Girls Club of Warm Springs will be closed on Monday, June 27, 2026
• Summer Programs at Madras Elementary (WSK8), Bridges High School, and Madras High School will be closed on Monday, July 27, as will Summer Meal Sites at the 509J schools.

Community members and employees are asked to prioritize your safety and remain vigilant during this emergency.

• The Bench Fire is 20,180 acres with 0% containment
• The Beachcomb Fire is 13,648 acres with 0% containment.
