At the Warm Springs K-8 Academy today, there is Kids Center Safety Net Parent Training in the Library.

The Madras Community Food Pantry on Culver Highway is open from 10-1 today. The Life Raft Food Pantry at 401 5th Street in Maupin runs from 11-3, and the Dufur Community Food Pantry inside Dufur School is open from 4-6.
At the Senior Center – there is Senior Fitness Class this morning 10:45 to 11:45 with a lunch for participants after.
Wellness of Warm Springs will gather today from noon until 1 at the old school cafeteria. The Health Education Topic is in Celebration of Choosh and the importance of hydration. The lunch menu is: BBQ chicken, beef and pork ribs, baked beans, rice, corn on cob, coleslaw, fresh fruit salad, Jello salad, dessert & cold beverages.
Warm Springs Community Health’s Mobile Medical Clinic will be located at the Permanent Supportive Housing area near the Trailer Courts this afternoon from 1-4. They can help with medical problems, medications, STI tests, and – by appointment – procedures. Walk-ins and appointments are welcome. Call 541-553-2352 to schedule.
Warm Springs K-8 Eagles Volleyball teams have home games vs. Culver today that start at 3:30.
MHS Sports today: Girls Soccer has home games today vs. Estacada at 4 & 6. Boys soccer will play at Estacada High School.
Warm Springs Young Life is hosting a BBQ & Family Day today from 4-6pm at the Community Center field. Young people in 6th through 12th grade, plus parents, guardians & families, are invited for food, games, prizes and to see what Young Life is about.
A Seekseequa District Enterprise Revenue Projections meeting is scheduled for 6 this evening at the Seekseequa Fire Hall. The purpose of the meeting is for enterprises to share their revenue projections with the membership.
The Madras-Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce is coordinating local Candidate Forums. This evening at 6:30 will be a forum for Jefferson County Sheriff candidates at the Camp Sherman Community Hall. People need to submit questions for the candidates for consideration to MadrasChamber@gmail.com before the events.
The 2027 Warm Springs Tribal Employee Open Enrollment Period runs from October 1st through the 29th. Be sure to confirm your email by Friday (9/25) to receive your CTWS.Ease.com log-in details and attend the in-person or virtual informational meetings on October 13th and 14th. Open Enrollment ends October 29th. Contact HR at 541-553-3262 if you have any questions.
A Car Seat & Community Health Resource Fair will take place Saturday, September 26th at Jefferson County Public Health in Madras. From 10-3, folks can stop by for free certified car seat checks, free car seats for eligible families, pizza, raffle prizes, and community family resource booths.
The Jefferson County Cowdeo is coming up Saturday, September 26th at the fairgrounds in Madras. Gates open at 8am.
KWSO is celebrating our 40th anniversary with a free screening of the award-winning documentary Bad Press. The film chronicles the courageous fight of Muscogee (Creek) Nation journalists as they defend the freedom of their press against attempts at censorship, highlighting the tension between tribal sovereignty and transparency while documenting the vital role of independent Indigenous media. Everyone is welcome to the event Wednesday, September 30th at the Madras Performing Arts Center. Doors open at 3pm with refreshments, the screening starts at 4 and a panel discussion will follow.
