New GM for Kah-Nee-Ta

Marie Kay Williams has been named the interim general manager for Kah-Nee-Ta Resort and Spa following the resignation of Jim Bankson, who is retiring, due to a recommendation from his doctor.

Kah-Nee-Ta Board Chair Jim Manion says “we are grateful for Jim Bankson’s leadership in these challenging times, during which the Kah-Nee-Ta and Indian Head Gaming Enterprises separated.  The board looks forward to longtime resort employee, Marie Kay stepping up and leading Kah-Nee-Ta toward long term viability.”

The resort was at 100% occupancy on Saturday (3/25/17) to kick off Spring Break weekend.  Business will continue to increase toward Memorial Day Weekend with the summer season the busiest time of year.  Kah-Nee-Ta is sold out for the Total Solar Eclipse the weekend of August 21st.
