It’s Late Start Monday for all 509J students. Schools open 90 minutes later than normal. At the Warm Springs K-8 Academy, 8th graders have their swim celebration at Kah-Nee-Ta. All grade levels will rotate through various field day activity stations. Many of the stations will be outside. It is helpful if students have a bottle of water and clothes they can move around in and will be fine if they get wet. Tomorrow is the last day of school. The K8 End of School Year Powwow will be held tomorrow (Jun 9) at 9:30am on the football field. All dancers & drummers are welcome.

The Hydro Panel Facility in the Industrial Park is open today for free drinking water. Warm Springs community members can stop by between 8am and 5pm to fill their containers.

The Timber Committee is scheduled to meet this morning from 8:30-noon at the Forestry Admin Office and the Land Use Planning Committee from 2-4:30 in conference room 3 at the Tribal Admin. Both committees meet twice monthly on the 2nd and 4th Mondays.

Senior Fitness Class at the Senior Center is every Monday and Thursday morning at 10:45 with a lunch for participants after.

Mondays at Warm Springs Behavioral Health there is a Women’s Talking Circle at 11am and the Adolescent A&D Education Court Program class is at 4. These are for BHC clients – contact their office if you need more information.

The Warm Springs Helping Hand Food Pantry is open Mondays 12:30-4pm at the Presbyterian Church. Food is available first come first serve. This is drug and alcohol-free zone.

There is Tai Chi class this evening from 6-7 in the Community Center aerobics room. It’s free and all skill levels are welcome.

ECE Head Start Graduation Day is tomorrow (Jun 9) starting at 10:30am at the Agency Longhouse.

Cascades East Transit will be hosting a pop-event to assist Warm Springs residents with account pass sign-ups and lost transit card replacements. Representatives will be at the Family Resource Center on Wednesday (Jun 10) from 9am until noon.

An event coming up Wednesday (Jun 10) at the Warm Springs Health & Wellness Center will feature a panel of community members who have successfully lost weight with Wegovy and Ozempic. People who are interested in losing weight or becoming healthier and would like to hear their personal stories and insights are welcome to attend. It’s from 5-7pm in the clinic atrium. Healthy snacks will be provided.

Warm Springs Diabetes Prevention invites youth to participate in its Strong Youth Wellness & Fitness Program. Starting June 16th, every Tuesday & Wednesday they will have fun daily workouts & games, team challenges & competitions, nutrition & health education and more. 3rd-5th grade youth will be from 1-3pm and grades 6-8 from 3:30-5:30. The 2026 Pi-Ume-Sha Health Fair is on Wednesday, June 24th 9am to 1:30pm on the front lawn of the Warm Springs Community Wellness Center. Everyone is welcome. There will be health screenings, community resources, and all kinds of giveaways.

The 2026 Pi-Ume-Sha Treaty Day Powwow is June 26, 27 & 28 in Warm Springs. It will include the annual individual & team dance competitions, a grass dance special and many other specials. Other Pi-Ume-Sha activities include a traditional dress parade, stick game tournament, rodeo, and endurance horse race. There is no softball tournament this year.
