• The Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs organization is closed today for the Treaty Day holiday.
• Warm Springs Housing Authority will be open today 8am until noon.
• The MountainStar Resource Bus providing diapers, wipes and other supplies for young children will be in the parking lot of the Warm Springs Community Center today from 10:30-2:30. Families that are registered with MountainStar will be eligible for diapers twice a month. For more information call 458-287-1080. • The Metolius Friends Food Pantry is open to all on Fridays from 4-6pm at 575 Hood Ave. You do need to bring your own bags.
• Today is the last day that the Johnson O’Malley Committee will accept applications for summer extracurricular activity allowances. Families have until 11:59 tonight to apply. They can be submitted by email to JOM@wstribes.org or dropped off with Naomi Brisbois, Krysta Rhoan, Tashina Smith or Arlena Danzuka. • The 2026 Pi-Ume-Sha Treaty Days Powwow starts this evening and goes through Sunday in Warm Springs. Grand entry times are 7 this evening, 1pm Saturday and 1pm Sunday.   KWSO will be broadcasting the powwow live.
• Jefferson County Veterans will have an informational table at the Pi-Ume-Sha Treaty Celebration. All advocates & Veterans are welcome to stop in.  They will have lemon water available for visitors and elders.

The 2026 Pi-Ume-Sha Traditional Parade “Honoring the Horses” is tomorrow (6/27) at 11am. Categories for judging are walkers, traditional floats, contemporary floats and horse riders with divisions for adult, teen and youth. Lineup for participants starts at 10am with judging at 10:15. The Pi-Ume-Sha Treaty Days Open Rodeo is Saturday & Sunday (6/27-28) starting at 1pm both days at the Warm Springs Rodeo Grounds. Admission on Saturday will be $20 per vehicle. Sunday is the Youth Open Rodeo and admission is free.

The Azar Spino Memorial Wild Horse Race is happening during the Pi-Ume-Sha Treaty Days Open Rodeo on Saturday (6/27).  For more information about this event you can contact George Spino 541-300-5906.

Treaty Days Indigenous Rez Boxing is tomorrow (6/27) 8am to 8pm at the old VFW Hall on Hollywood Blvd. For information call Austin Smith Sr. at 541-325-2798.

Tenants of Warm Springs Housing Authority who require emergency repairs after hours or on weekends/holidays need to contact Warm Springs PD Dispatch and request Housing’s on-call service. A qualifying emergency service would be a broken water line, backed up sewer, any electrical issues and kicked-in exterior doors. All other non-emergency work orders can be taken care of on the next business day.

The summer reading program at the Jefferson County Library is open through August 31^st. Youth ages 0-18 are invited to participate. Youth will earn a prize for registering and also for reading 120 minutes each week, completing a weekly challenge and a grand prize for 960 minutes of reading! Register online at jcld.org.
