• Free Summer Meals Today: Fuel your Friday! While Buff Elementary is closed today, free meals for youth 1–18 are still open at the Warm Springs Boys & Girls Club (Breakfast: 8:15–9:00 AM / Lunch: 11:00–11:45 AM) and Bridges High School (Breakfast: 7:45–8:45 AM / Lunch: 11:15 AM–12:30 PM).
• The Range & Agriculture Committee is scheduled to meet this morning from 9 to noon at the BNR Cougar Den. The committee meets twice per month on the 2^nd and 4^th
• The Food Bank at the Warm Springs Commodities warehouse is open today from 10am to 1pm. The Reservation Impact Free Food Market is this afternoon at 3:30 at the Commodities Building. It happens on the 2^nd Friday of the month.
• The MountainStar Resource Bus providing diapers, wipes and other supplies for young children will be in the parking lot of the Warm Springs Community Center today from 10:30-2:30. Families that are registered with MountainStar will be eligible for diapers twice a month. For more information call 458-287-1080. • Every Friday, Warm Springs Behavioral Health Center has a Relapse Prevention Group for current clients at 11am. In the afternoon, Art + Emotion Group with Dr. Largent is from 3-4pm and Wellbriety Group Therapy is from 4-5pm. These afternoon groups are open to the public.
• Friday is Senior Lunch Day in Warm Springs. Free meals for elders 60 and older are from noon to 1 every Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday in the Senior Wellness Center dining room.
• The Metolius Friends Food Pantry is open to all on Fridays from 4-6pm at 575 Hood Ave. You do need to bring your own bags.

Warm Springs OSU Extension is having a hands-on Kitchen to Market workshop to learn what you need to know to sell your foods in Oregon. It’s tomorrow (Jul 11) from 1-5pm  in the Family Resource Center conference room. You’ll learn about Oregon cottage food regulations, design labels that meet state legal standards, learn how to use testing equipment for record keeping and make & can an herbal syrup. The Plateau Travel Plaza is inviting the community to celebrate the completion of its major expansion during a Grand Opening celebration tomorrow (Jul 11) from noon until 9 p.m. The event begins with a cultural blessing and ribbon cutting, followed by fuel discounts, café tastings, KWSO will be there, plus a Kid Zone, prize giveaways, arts and crafts, and a drone show at 9 p.m. Warm Springs Tribal Member arts and craft vendors are still being sought for the event. Warm Springs OSU Extension Service presents Honeybee Basics with Oregon Master Beekeepers on Sunday, July 12th from 10 to noon. Stop by a local apiary for a quick Q&A on honeybees and native bees, then suit up for a hands‑on hive inspection—protective gear, snacks, and refreshments included. Pre‑registration is required. Warm Springs Nation Summer T-Ball registration for 6- & 7-year-olds will open July 13-24. They are taking 40 players for the league which will have games in August. In person registration will be scheduled – watch for dates & times. For more information contact Liz Hisatake at InfoWSNLL@gmail.com.

The summer reading program at the Jefferson County Library is open through August 31^st. Youth ages 0-18 are invited to participate. Youth will earn a prize for registering and also for reading 120 minutes each week, completing a weekly challenge and a grand prize for 960 minutes of reading! Register online at jcld.org.
