Ice Cancellations & Delays

Roads around Warm Springs and Jefferson County are ice covered this morning with light freezing rain making for the iciest road conditions so far this week.  The Jefferson County School District 509-J initially called for a 2 hour delay then decided, shortly after 7 am,  to cancel school.  The South Wasco County School District cancelled school as well.  Most schools in Central Oregon cancelled today.

COCC and OSU Cascades campus are closed and all classes are cancelled today.

There is a delay to the work day for Warm Springs Tribal Offices, Bureau of Indian Affairs and Indian Health Clinic.  Work will start at 1 pm today for Tribal and BIA offices.  The Indian Health Services Clinic opened at 10 am.  Warm Springs Head Start Part Day is closed.  Jury Trials are cancelled at Tribal Court and there is no morning run for Warm Springs Transit.

The Warm Springs Recreation Car Lights Parade, Tree Lighting and Native Aspirations Family Fun Activities scheduled for tonight is postponed until Tuesday December 9th.

The forecast is for temperatures to warm to near 40 today.
