It’s the 30th anniversary of the Waterfront Blues Festival which is the annual big fundraiser for the Oregon Food Bank. Money raised from the event goes toward purchasing food for those in need but also for operations of the statewide network. Admission cost at the festival is $15 at the gate or $10 in advance.
Portland’s KBOO radio broadcasts the concerts live and in recent years, shares their broadcast with affiliate radio stations that are part of Oregon Community Media. KWSO in Warm Springs will be airing the Blues Festival this weekend with this schedule:
- Friday June 30th – 6-10pm
- Saturday July 1st – noon-10pm
- Sunday July 2nd – noon-10pm
- Monday July 3rd – 6-10pm
- Tuesday July 4th – noon – 10pm
