The Warm Springs Children’s Protective Services Center remodel is being done over the next several months. The facility will see significant improvements in the bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and common areas.  The center provides a safe residence for Tribal Member children.  The prime contractor on the project is Warm Springs Construction.

Warm Springs Tribal Members will receive special per capita payments this week in the amount of $500. Members with Warm Springs mailing addresses will have checks delivered to boxes tomorrow. Checks are being mailed today to addresses other than Warm Springs. However, residents outside of Warm Springs do have the option of picking up their checks at Vital Statistics Wednesday & Thursday from 9am to 5pm – just be sure to have valid identification and understand that you may pick up your check ONLY. You must call Lynn Davis at 541-460-2028 by 10:00 this morning to have your check held for pick up. Members with Warm Springs addresses are not eligible for pick up – your check will be in your mail box tomorrow.

It’s a high school basketball double header tonight as both Madras White Buffalo girls and boys team host Cottage Grove. Girls JV play at 3, Boys JV at 4:30, Varsity Boys at 6:00 and the Varsity Girls at 7:30. You can listen to the varsity games live on 91.9fm.
