• Tribal Member Concerns are on the Tribal Council agenda from 9am until noon today. This afternoon’s items are: ECE Compliance; Joint Health Commission; and Miss Warm Springs Update.
• Thrive Central Oregon can help connect people to local resources they are looking for – such as housing, healthcare, basic needs, benefits assistance, employment and more. They have drop-in hours in Warm Springs and Madras once a week. Tuesdays they are available at the Warm Springs Housing Authority from 9am-noon and 1-3pm. Thursdays they are at Jefferson County Public Health 10am until 3.
• The Warm Springs Commodities Food Bank, located at 4217 Holliday Street in the Industrial Park, is open 10 until 1 today.
• The Madras Community Food Pantry at 370 SW Culver Highway is open 10-1 today.
• Today is Senior Lunch from noon to 1 at the Warm Springs Senior Building. On the menu: pork chops with mashed potatoes, green beans, green salad & canned fruit.
• The Jefferson County Senior Center in Madras will serve lunch today for folks 60 & older.

The Four Columbia River Tribes set a Commercial Sturgeon Setline Fishery for The Dalles and John Day Pools from 6am Thursday, January 8^th through 6pm Saturday, January 17^th and for the Bonneville Pool January 19-29. These are for setlines only.

Art Adventure Gallery is having an opening reception this Thursday (Jan. 8) for its new exhibit featuring the paintings and drawings of Mike Kelly. The reception is from 5:30-7pm at the gallery located on 5^th Street in Madras.

Warm Springs Telecom is inviting the community to a groundbreaking ceremony for the NTIA Tribal Broadband Connectivity Program Grant this Thursday (Jan. 8). They are celebrating the beginning of fiber optic installation that will provide high-speed internet to up to 900 homes on the reservation. They will gather at 10am Thursday at the north entrance of the Tribal Administration building. After the ceremony, refreshments will be provided at the Credit Enterprise building.

The 59^th Annual Warm Springs All-Indian Men’s Holiday Basketball Tournament is on January 22-24 at the Community Center. Entries are due January 14^th. Contact Austin Greene at 541-553-3243 for more information.

CTWS Board vacancies are being advertised for the TERO Commission, Indian Head Casino Board of Directors, Warm Springs Composite Board, Warm Springs Local Housing Authority Board of Commissioners, Warm Springs Power & Water Enterprise Board, Telco Board of Directors, Waterboard and Warm Springs Credit Board of Directors. Interested applicants should submit a letter of interest, resume & signature on a criminal/credit background check to the office of the Secretary-Treasurer no later than 5pm on January 16^th.

The Tribal Member Art Exhibit will be on display at the Museum at Warm Springs through March 7th. The Museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 9am to noon and 1-5pm. Stop by to see traditional, contemporary and video artwork from youth and adults of Warm Springs.

A Suicide Awareness Wild Horse Race Clinic in White Swan, WA is planned for April 25^th and 26^th. It’s open to individuals and teams, juniors age 6-12 and seniors 13-19. Books will be open both days until 9am. For more information, call or text Nate at 971-900-2069.
