Johnson O’Malley Committee Taking Applications for Summer Extracurricular Allowances

The Johnson O’Malley (JOM) Parent Committee announced that applications are open for summer extracurricular allowances. The deadline is on Friday, June 26th, at 11:59 PM.
JOM is offering $100 per child to help cover the costs of eligible activities taking place throughout June, July, and August. Funding is available to students in Pre-K through 12th grade who are enrolled in the Jefferson County 509J School District or South Wasco County School District.
Parents and guardians should take note of a change for this funding cycle: the committee now requires a separate application for each individual student. > Example: If you have three children in your household, you must fill out and submit three separate financial assistance request forms. This updated policy ensures that funds are tracked and allocated accurately for every child.

Once completed, families have two options for submission:

Via Email: Send completed forms to JOM@wstribes.org.

In Person: Drop off forms directly with JOM Parent Committee members Naomi Brisbois, Krysta Rhoan, Tashina Smith, or Arlena Danzuka.
With the June 26th deadline coming soon, families are encouraged to submit their paperwork as soon as possible to ensure their children don’t miss out on summer sports, camps, or other extracurricular activities.
