Funeral Arrangements for Edgar M.W. Yahtin – There will be a one-day service today (Jun 13) starting with a viewing at 8am at the Agency Longhouse. There will be three 7’s and then burial at the Mouth of the River Cemetery. They will return to the longhouse for a sack lunch and giveaway. No children are allowed at the services.
The Simnasho Tribal Market is open Saturdays and Sundays 10am – 2pm through Labor Day weekend, by the Simnasho Longhouse. Tribal Vendors are welcome and visitors are encouraged. You can contact Howie or Delson to learn more.
The Madras Saturday Market is happening today starting at 9 and going until 2:00 at Sahalee Park. It is open to local vendors – visit www.SaturdayMarketMadras.com of find them on Facebook & Instagram for more information.
On Sunday (Jun 14) a local Rise Up- Sing Out event will take place from 3-5pm at Sahalee Park in Madras. Everyone is welcome to bring a picnic and enjoy the music and speakers. There will be a rally at the North Y following the picnic from 5-7.
The Warm Springs Boys & Girls Club summer program starts on Monday, June 15 and it will run weekdays 8-5. No meals will be provided in June. Youth must bring their own breakfast & lunch. The 509J Summer Meals Program will start on July 6th. The club will be closed on June 19th for the Juneteenth Holiday.
There is Tai Chi class on Monday, June 15th from 6-7pm in the Community Center aerobics room. It’s free and all skill levels are welcome.
The Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs Employee Appreciation Carnival is on Friday, June 19th at the Campus Pavilion from noon until 3.
COCC is offering a GED class at the Madras campus Mondays and Wednesday 6:00-7:20 pm beginning the week of June 22. GED Preparation Classes help you to Improve your skills in reading, writing, speaking, and math for college credit classes, the GED exam, and work. Register on the COCC website.
A 1-Day Solar Training is being offered Wednesday, June 24 from 10-2:30 at the Greeley Heights Community Building. Youth can learn all about solar and explore careers in the solar industry. To sign up, email Janaya Brunoe at janaya.brunoe@wstribes.org.
The 2026 Pi-Ume-Sha Health Fair is on Wednesday, June 24th 9am to 1:30pm on the front lawn of the Warm Springs Community Wellness Center. Everyone is welcome. There will be health screenings, community resources, and all kinds of giveaways.

The Warm Springs Police Department has temporarily contracted with Frontier Regional 911 to assist with dispatch during overnight hours. Frontier is handling all 911 and emergency dispatch services for the Warm Springs PD between the hours of 6pm and 6am. During these hours, community members who need non-emergency assistance from the police department should call 541-384-2080.
