Warm Springs Skate Park Update

Additional improvements are taking place this week at the Warm Springs Skate Park at Quinn Park, in Warm Springs, building on the community-led effort that completely rebuilt the facility in 2023.  The park features concrete surfaces, jumps, dips and obstacles designed for skaters of all skill levels.

Now, organizers are working with local riders to add new street-style features focused, in part,  on creating a space that young people will take pride in.  Volunteer Zach Koepke says “We’re trying to find an effective way to spend that money and get youth more involved in taking care of the place.” He added that the effort is about “giving back to the community and to skateboarding.”

The Warm Springs Skate Park remains the only skatepark in the area.  Organizers say the latest improvements will continue to strengthen the park as a community asset while encouraging local youth to stay active and connected through skateboarding.
