Rocky Fire Update

​The Rocky Fire was reported yesterday afternoon (6/17/26) at 3:34pm originating in the area of the old Mill Site in Warm Springs.

Watch Duty reported that the fire was estimated to be 30-40 acres burning along the hillside adjacent to Highway 26, pushed by winds in a Northwest Direction, it was burning in grass, brush and rocks.

Local wildland fire crews and engines responded and a helicopter provided water drops to halt the fire’s advance.  Warm Springs Police closed highway 3 for a time.

Mop Up operations will continue today.
