Zipline RMIDT Community Meetings

Warm Springs Economic Development is hosting a community meeting as part of the Tribes’ Branch of Natural Resources Interdisciplinary Team to review a proposal for a reservation-based drone testing site opportunity with Zipline.  Zipline is a delivery drone company that is interested in operating a testing program on the reservation.

The area they are interested in for conditional use is in the Northwest area of the reservation near the boundary close to highway 216.  There is an old quarry site there that would be utilized.

BNR is seeking community input for this project at public meetings.  A meeting is set for the Seekseequa Fire Hall on Tuesday, February 17^th, at the Agency Longhouse Wednesday, February 18^th and at the Simnasho Longhouse Thursday, February 19^th.  All meetings are 6-8pm.
