Warm Springs Softball and Baseball All‑Stars Head to District Competition

Crook County Little League is set to host the 2026 Oregon District Five All-Star Tournament from June 19-27. 45 five teams representing 9 different leagues will compete, including Bend North, Bend South, Crook County, Jefferson County, La Pine, Redmond, Sisters, The Dalles, and Warm Springs. Opening ceremonies kick off Friday, June 19^th at 6:30pm at Davidson Field in Prineville.

Among those competing are the All-Star teams from the Warm Springs Nation.  The Junior Softball All-Star Team is led by manager Bird Windyboy and coaches Hailey Cochran and Marilyn Tom. On the roster are Janaya Adams, Rayline Anderson-Smith, Sharmiah Brisbois, Marie Jackson, Jaida Lane, Adrianna Miller, Hummingbird Paul, Sta’cha Paul, Marie Tom, and Coraline White.

Warm Springs is also fielding a Baseball All-Star team, managed by Vivian Carter-Smith alongside coaches Alvis Smith III and Kelly Blueback. Taking the field for the boys are Anthony Bryant, Zakai Holliday, Reyden Medina, Noah Medina-Kurtz, Raysin Miller, Nakota Smith, Audacious Speedis-Blueback, Ramone Thomas Junior, and Thurman Winishut-Suppah.

Jefferson County Little League has Senior Softball, Junior Baseball, Majors Baseball, Minors Baseball and Minors Softball teams competing.  There are kids from Warm Springs on those teams as well.
