• Free Summer Meals Today: Two new locations open today! Free meals for youth 1–18 are available at Warm Springs Boys & Girls Club, Bridges High School, Madras Elementary (8:00–9:00 AM / 11:15 AM–12:30 PM), and Madras High School (7:45–8:30 AM / 11:15–11:45 AM).
• The Community Wellness Center has a summer conditioning training session with Titus Kalama every Monday, Wednesday & Friday morning from 8:30-10.
• On the Tribal Council Agenda this morning – Youth Council; Secretary-Treasurer/CEO-COO Updates; Draft Resolutions; and a Legislative Update Call. This afternoon – Enrollments; IHS Update; Health & Human Services; and Managed Care Update.
• Senior Fitness Class at the Senior Center is every Monday and Thursday morning at 10:45 with a lunch for participants after.
• Mondays at Warm Springs Behavioral Health there is a Women’s Talking Circle at 11am and the Adolescent A&D Education Court Program class is at 4. These are for BHC clients – contact their office if you need more information.
• The Warm Springs Helping Hand Food Pantry is open Mondays 12:30-4pm at the Presbyterian Church. Food is available first come first serve. This is drug and alcohol-free zone.
• Youth in Progress invites kids to join them every Monday in Carol’s Room at the Community Center for connecting and activities from 1-3pm.
• The Health & Welfare Committee is scheduled to meet today from 9am until noon at the clinic and the Education Committee from 5:30-7:30pm at the Wyam Youth Center. Both committees meet every 1^st and 3^rd Monday of the month.
• There is Tai Chi class this evening from 6-7 in the Community Center aerobics room. It’s free and all skill levels are welcome.

Warm Springs Nation T-Ball Registration is being taken in person in the Family Resource Center conference room this week on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday (7/21-23) from 5:30-7:30pm. There is no cost to register for t-ball. Birth certificates are required to verify age. Kids need to be 6 or 7 to participate.

Warm Springs Prevention is having a summer movie night tomorrow (7/21) at the campus pavilion. Bring a chair or blanket to sit on. It will start around 9:30pm.

The 2026 Jefferson County Fair & Rodeo starts this Wednesday (7/22) and runs through Saturday at the Jefferson County Event Complex in Madras. Entertainment includes 11 live bands, music bingo, Jefferson County’s Got Talent and more.   The NPRA Rodeo will be Friday & Saturday at the fair. Admission to the fair is free, but it does cost to get into the rodeo – $15 for adults, $7 for ages 6-12 and free for kids 5 & under. You can visit JCFair.fun to get more details.

The next Warm Springs Tribal Appreciation Day at Kah-Nee-Ta Resort is coming up Wednesday (7/22). There is free admission for day use from 11am to 7pm. Tribal Appreciation Days are open to tribal members, spouses, Warm Springs residents and tribal enterprise employees. Warm Springs Tribal Appreciation Days at Kah-Nee-Ta Resort are held every other Wednesday through September.

Papalaxsimisha’s pre-college summer series continues this Wednesday (7/22) at the old school cafeteria. Dinner is provided at 5:30 and the session is from 6-7:30. It’s a chance to get a head start on your college journey – learn about financial aid, applying to college, scholarships and get support on your path to college.

Tenants of Warm Springs Housing Authority who require emergency repairs after hours or on weekends/holidays need to contact Warm Springs PD Dispatch and request Housing’s on-call service. A qualifying emergency service would be a broken water line, backed up sewer, any electrical issues and kicked-in exterior doors. All other non-emergency work orders can be taken care of on the next business day.

The Warm Springs Police Department has temporarily contracted with Frontier Regional 911 to assist with dispatch during overnight hours. Frontier is handling all 911 and emergency dispatch services for the Warm Springs PD between the hours of 6pm and 6am. During these hours, community members who need non-emergency assistance from the police department should call 541-384-2080.
