• Warm Springs Christian Fellowship meets this morning at 9:30 at the Senior Center.
• The Warm Springs Baptist Church has Sunday School at 10:00 and Worship Service at 11:00 this morning.
• The Warm Springs Food Bank is located at the Presbyterian Church. They are open from 11:30-1:30 today.  All food banks and pantries do take donations of non-perishable food or cash

Monday 5/13

• Tribal Council will meet tomorrow to get updates from the Secretary-Treasurer, Administrative Services, Human Resources, Finance, Governmental Affairs, Managed Care, Purchasing, Community Assistance and General & Administrative.
• It is a regular late start Monday for 509J schools tomorrow.
• The Madras Aquatic Center Recreation District board of directors will meet tomorrow at 6:30pm at the MAC.

The Native Youth Exploring Higher Education summer camp at Washington State University is taking applications now through June 15^th. The free camp is July 15-19 and is open to students who will enter grades 9-10 in the fall. It’s for students to learn about college opportunities and education. Information and registration is available online.

The 3^rd Annual Ich’inun Summer Jam Powwow Slam is May 30^th at the Warm Springs K-8 Academy. It’s a social powwow from 6-9pm honoring all 2019 graduates. All drums and dancers are welcome. The public is welcome.

2019 Tribal Salmon Camp is being hosted by the Nez Perce Tribe at Camp Wittman August 11-17. Students in grades 6-8 who are members or descendants from the four treaty tribes may apply. It’s a free six-day camp and a stipend will be provided after successful completion. They will learn about salmon, restoration projects, and traditional ecology through hands on experience with tribal professionals. To apply go to www.critfc.org. The deadline is May 31^st.

If you have unused or expired medications you need to get rid of, the Warm Springs Health & Wellness Center now has a MedSafe drop box to dispose of old meds. Bring them to large blue box located in the pharmacy waiting area to safely dispose of unneeded medications.

The 1910 Indian Shaker Church is accepting donations of clothing and other items for its rummage sale fundraisers. If you would like to donate, contact Josie Williams 360-640-8221.

Tribal Council is advertising vacancies on the following committees: Culture & Heritage; Education; Health & Welfare; Land Use Planning; Range, Irrigation & Agriculture; Timber; and Fish & Wildlife. Letters of interest and resumes must be submitted to Secretary- Treasurer Michele Stacona by 5pm on June 7^th.

The Warm Springs K-8 middle school art classes would like to learn local, Native crafts–especially beading. They are looking for several local volunteers to come in and help teach beading or another craft to the students.
