The Warm Springs Food Bank at the Presbyterian Church provides food for families in need and are open Sundays from 11:30am to 1:30pm. Donations are also encouraged throughout during this time of year and can be delivered to the Presbyterian Church at 1141 Warm Springs Street. For more info, contact Pastor Rick at 541-553-1237.
The Jefferson County Food Bank is open on Tuesdays from 1:30-5pm at 556 SE 7th street in Madras for low income individuals and families. Warm Springs Transit includes a trip to the Madras Food Bank on Tuesdays. See schedule for further information.
Department of Human Services provides dinner boxes, toys and clothes to low-income families. Applicants must meet eligiblity requirements and complete an application. Completed applications should be returned to DHS Volunteer Services, 678 NE Hwy 97 Suite B, Madras, Oregon 97741. UPDATE 12/17: APPLICATIONS ARE NO LONGER BEING ACCEPTED.

KWSO and Spilyay Tymoo have launched a toy drive to benefit local children and families during the holiday season. Donations of new, unwrapped gifts and non-perishable food items are being collected during regular business hours at the Warm Springs Media Center at 4174 Highway 3 in Warm Springs until December 19th. Food and toys collected will be distributed to local families in partnership with ECE and other local agencies. Indian Head Casino is holding a toy drive to benefit Warm Springs Child Protective Services. Bring a new toy in any Monday in December for bonus slot play. 9am – noon receives $10, from noon – midnight receive $5.
