Constitution Amendment Vote – Registrations Coming Soon

The Bureau of Indian Affairs, Warm Springs Agency, will be conducting an election to amend the Constitution of the Confederated Tribes of the Warm Springs Reservation.  This will be a federally conducted election and not a Tribal Election.  A voter registration will be sent to all Tribal members of voting age, which for this election is 18.  Included in the packet is information about the proposed changes, a sample ballot and a voter registration form.  To participate in this election you must register.  All voting will be done by absentee ballot with a deadline of April 11th.  The deadline to register is March 14th. There are 15 proposed changes to the Warm Springs Constitution that have been proposed.
