Pi-Ume-Sha Treaty Days 2017 is in the books and KWSO was happy to again broadcast live from the Pow Wow Grounds Friday – Sunday, June 23-25, 2017. On the Wednesday before Pi-Ume-Sha weekend we participated in the annual Health Fair and began our annual process of gathering feedback from the community with our KWSO Survey.
The online version of the survey is now available and will be live through the 4th of July. Please take time to hit THIS LINK and give us your feedback on how we are doing. Survey data collected this time of the year – helps us learn what we are doing right – and how we can grow to serve our community.
Starting Friday Evening June 30th thru the 4th of July we will be sharing a live broadcast of the Waterfront Blues Festival in Portland along with other radio stations that make up Oregon Community Media. This 5-day festival features more than 100 acts on 4 stages along the waterfront in downtown Portland, and is an annual fundraiser for the Oregon Food Bank. You can support your local food bank today or any day with a donation of cash or non-perishable food items. In Warm Springs, the local food bank is run by the Presbyterian Church.
