Simnasho & Schoolie Flat Boil Water Notice Update

The Simnasho water main was compromised by a contractor today (1/8/26) affecting water users in the Simnasho Residential Area, Three Warriors Market, the Simnasho Longhouse, and Schoolie Flat residences.

The break was repaired and service restored by afternoon

As a result, there’s going to be a boil water notice that will be in effect immediately and will be in affect until the EPA approves the sampling results.

When there is a boil water notice, you need to bring tap water to a rolling boil, boil for one minute, and cool before using. Or use bottled water for drinking, making ice, washing dishes, brushing teeth, and preparing food.

Simnasho residents can get drinking water from Three Warriors Market and also at Warm Springs Emergency Management’s Water Distribution center at 1116 Wasco Street.  Their hours are 9:00am-4:00pm Daily.
