  • The Hydro Panel Facility in the Industrial Park is open today for free drinking water 8am and 5pm.
  • The Warm Springs Community Wellness Center’s free youth fitness summer program begins today. It will include an hour a day of fun challenges for all ages. For more information talk to Hamley at the Community Center.
  • The Timber Committee is scheduled to meet this morning from 8:30-noon at the Forestry Admin Office and the Land Use Planning Committee from 2-4:30 in conference room 3 at the Tribal Admin. Both committees meet twice monthly on the 2nd and 4th
  • On today’s Tribal Council Agenda – Oregon State Bar President & Executive Director; and Papalaxsimisha.
  • Senior Fitness Class at the Senior Center is every Monday and Thursday morning at 10:45 with lunch for participants after.
  • Mondays at Warm Springs Behavioral Health there is a Women’s Talking Circle at 11am and the Adolescent A&D Education Court Program class is at 4. These are for BHC clients – contact their office if you need more information.
  • The Warm Springs Helping Hand Food Pantry is open Mondays 12:30-4pm at the Presbyterian Church. Food is available first come first serve. They do NOT have any fresh produce available today. Please bring your own reuseable shopping bags.
  • There is Tai Chi class this evening at 6 in the Community Center aerobics room. It’s free and all skill levels are welcome.

The “Every Kid Sports Pass” for Fall 2026 opens tomorrow (6/23) at 10am. They are using a new portal where families can manage everything from a single dashboard and no more daily cutoffs. The application stays open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You’ll get instant document review and easy status tracking. To qualify, your child must be on SNAP, Medicaid, or WIC, be 4 to 18 years old, and the sport must be recreational, not elite or travel and the season must last at least four weeks. A Warm Springs Tribal Community Energy Fair will be held tomorrow (6/23) 9am to 3pm at the campus pavilion. It will have interactive activities & giveaways, info on energy saving and the Tribes’ current & potential energy projects plus raffle prizes, and free meals provided by local food carts.

A 1-Day Solar Training is being offered Wednesday (6/24) from 10-2:30 at the Greeley Heights Community Building. To sign up, email Janaya Brunoe at janaya.brunoe@wstribes.org.

The Pi-Ume-Sha Health Fair is on Wednesday (6/24) 9am to 1:30pm on the front lawn of the Warm Springs Community Wellness Center. Everyone is welcome. There will be health screenings, community resources, and all kinds of giveaways.  Warm Springs Community Health’s mobile medical clinic will be there and can help with medical problems, medications, STI tests and immunizations.

The next Warm Springs Tribal Appreciation Day at Kah-Nee-Ta Resort is coming up this Wednesday (6/24). There is free admission for day use from 11am to 7pm. Tribal Appreciation Days are for tribal members, spouses, Warm Springs residents and tribal enterprise employees. They will be held every other Wednesday through September.

The Plateau Travel Plaza has extended its call for tribal artists. Enrolled members of the Warm Springs, Wasco, and Paiute Tribes have an opportunity to showcase unique, unseen arts, crafts, and traditional artifacts. Selected items will be displayed at the Plaza for 3 to 6 months. Artists/families will receive compensation based on the item’s value. Items along with a written description or story about it can be submitted until Wednesday (6/24). You can deliver your item and description to Margie Tuckta in the Indian Head Casino Human Resources Department or email a photo and description to mtuckta@indianheadgaming.com.

The Johnson O’Malley Committee will accept applications for summer extracurricular activity allowances through this Friday (6/26). You will find forms and information on the Johnson O’Malley – JOM: CTWS info page on Facebook.

Pi-Ume-Sha 2026:

  • The Pi-Ume-Sha Treaty Days Powwow is this weekend (6/26-28) in Warm Springs. Grand entry times are Friday at 7pm and at 1pm Saturday & Sunday. For powwow information contact Robinson Mitchell 541-325-2968. Vendors can contact Sharon Katchia 541-295-6046.
  • The Pi-Ume-Sha Traditional Parade “Honoring the Horses” is on Saturday (6/27). Lineup for participants will start at 10am with judging at 10:15. The parade begins at 11 at the campus and ends at the powwow grounds. Divisions for judging will be adult, teen and youth in these categories – walkers, traditional floats, contemporary floats & horse riders.   • The Pi-Ume-Sha Treaty Days Open Rodeo is Saturday & Sunday (6/27-28) starting at 1pm both days at the Warm Springs Rodeo Grounds. Admission on Saturday is $20 per vehicle. Sunday will be the Youth Open Rodeo and admission is free. Entries for both days are open through Wednesday (6/24) by sending a message to the Warm Springs Ranch Rodeo Association Facebook page or call/text 541-460-8687.
  • The Azar Spino Memorial Wild Horse Race will be on Saturday (6/27) during the rodeo. You can contact George Spino 541-300-5906 to enter this race.
  • Treaty Days Indigenous Rez Boxing is on Saturday (6/27 8am to 8pm. It will take place at the old VFW compound on Hollywood Blvd. For information call Austin Smith Sr. at 541-325-2798.
