• All Warm Springs residents are welcome to a Wellness & Vaccine Clinic happening this morning from 9 to noon. Free dog and cat services include vaccinations, flea/tick prevention, and treatment for minor infections. No appointments are needed.
• The Madras Saturday Market is happening today starting at 9 and going until 2:00 at Sahalee Park. It is open to local vendors – visit SaturdayMarketMadras.com of find them on Facebook & Instagram for more information.
• A memorial and headstone dedication for Trayce Sam-Smith, son of Mileena Edwards & Troy Sam-Smith, are being held this morning. They are meeting at 9 at the Agency Cemetery and going to the Agency Longhouse after for one seven. Rejoining, giveaway and a meal will follow. Everyone is welcome.
• The Simnasho Tribal Market is open Saturdays and Sundays 10am – 2pm through Labor Day weekend, by the Simnasho Longhouse.  Tribal Vendors are welcome and visitors are encouraged.  You can contact Howie Patt or Delson Suppah to learn more.
• There is a Nature Kids outing this morning from 10:30-noon at Sahalee Park in Madras. The outings are for kids and families explore the wonders of the natural world at a local park with a hands-on activity. The theme is Wild Inventors! All Nature Kids are free and ideal for families with kids ages 5-10.
• Legends Reloaded at the Jefferson County Event Complex continues today featuring tributes to the music of rock’s most iconic artists. It’s an all ages event and kids 12 & under can attend for free. Gates open at noon and the show starts at 1. You can find out more about tickets online at LegendsReloaded.com.
• Mission 517 is hosting a gathering at the Warm Springs Full Gospel Church today at noon.  Jessie Spino will be the guest speaker.  Lunch will be served.

The Warm Springs Community Wellness Center will have a free youth fitness program this summer – it starts Monday, June 22. It will include an hour a day of fun challenges for all ages. For more information talk to Hamley at the Community Center.

There is a Tai Chi class on Monday, June 22^nd from 6-7pm in the Community Center aerobics room. It’s free and all skill levels are welcome.

The 2026 Pi-Ume-Sha Health Fair is coming up on Wednesday, June 24^th 9am to 1:30pm on the front lawn of the Warm Springs Community Wellness Center. Everyone is welcome.

The Azar Spino Memorial Wild Horse Race is happening during the Pi-Ume-Sha Treaty Days Open Rodeo on Saturday, June 27^th at noon. For entry information you can contact George Spino 541-300-5906.

The Community Wellness Center is taking signups for its Cooking Around the World program this summer. Youth will learn to prepare favorite dishes from different countries. The first class will be on July 9. Space is limited so youth should sign up now at the Recreation office.

Warm Springs OSU Extension Service presents Honeybee Basics with Oregon Master Beekeepers on Sunday, July 12th from 10 to noon. Stop by a local apiary for a quick Q&A on honeybees and native bees, then suit up for a hands‑on hive inspection—protective gear, snacks, and refreshments included. Pre‑registration is required. The summer reading program at the Jefferson County Library is open through August 31^st. Youth ages 0-18 are invited to participate. Youth will earn a prize for registering and also for reading 120 minutes each week, completing a weekly challenge and a grand prize for 960 minutes of reading! Register online at jcld.org.

Tenants of Warm Springs Housing Authority who require emergency repairs after hours or on weekends/holidays need to contact Warm Springs PD Dispatch and request Housing’s on-call service. A qualifying emergency service would be a broken water line, backed up sewer, any electrical issues and kicked-in exterior doors. All other non-emergency work orders can be taken care of on the next business day.

The Warm Springs Police Department has temporarily contracted with Frontier Regional 911 to assist with dispatch during overnight hours. Frontier is handling all 911 and emergency dispatch services for the Warm Springs PD between the hours of 6pm and 6am. During these hours, community members who need non-emergency assistance from the police department should call 541-384-2080.
