KWSO Calendar for Wed., Jun. 24, 2026

• The Warm Springs Vital Stats office in the Tribal Administration Building is closed on Wednesdays to allow staff to address a backlog of work. This schedule will remain in effect through July 8th.  The best way to contact Vital Stats is to stop by (except on Wednesday) or email vitalstats@wstribes.org.
• The Warm Springs Boys & Girls Club is open weekdays 8-5 through the summer. No meals will be provided in June, so kids should bring a breakfast & lunch. The 509J Summer Meals Program will start on July 6^th.
• The Pi-Ume-Sha Health Fair is today from 9am to 1:30pm on the front lawn of the Warm Springs Community Wellness Center. Everyone is welcome. There will be health screenings, community resources, and all kinds of giveaways. Warm Springs Community Health’s mobile medical clinic will be there providing help with medical problems, medications, STI tests and immunizations.
• The Behavioral Health Center in Warm Springs offers an A&D Education Group every Wednesday morning at 10 that is open to anyone. Classes for current BHC clients on Wednesdays are Parenting at 11am, Adult Anger Management at 3 and a Men’s Focus Group at 4. Contact the BHC office for more information.
• Today is Tribal Appreciation Day at Kah-Nee-Ta Resort. There is free admission for day use from 11am to 7pm. Included in the day pass – use of swimming pools, mini-golf, pickleball, basketball, bocce ball, spike ball, 4-square volleyball and interactive video games. Discounts are also offered on cabana rentals, food in the restaurant and purchases at the pool house store. Tribal Appreciation Days are open to tribal members, spouses, Warm Springs residents and tribal enterprise employees and will be every other Wednesday through September.
• There is a senior lunch today at noon at the Warm Springs Senior Center dining area. Senior meals are free for all elders age 60 and older. Folks can join the seniors for lunch – it’s $1 for Youth, $5 for adults or you can assist with clean-up after the meal. Today they are serving baked salmon, brown rice pilaf, green beans & corn and fresh fruit.
• The Water Control Board meets today from 1:30 until 4 in Conference Room #3 at the Tribal Administration Building. It meets monthly on the 4^th
• 6 Today is the Free Food Market at the Madras Community Food Pantry, located at 370 SW Culver Highway. Signups will begin at 4 and doors open at 4:30

Tomorrow (6/25) is the Treaty Day holiday for the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs. The tribal organization will be closed.

There’s a Treaty Day BBQ tomorrow (6/25), courtesy of the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs Tribal Council. Tribal Council will barbecue hamburgers and hotdogs.  It will start at 11 and continue until the food runs out at the Community Center Pavillon.

The Johnson O’Malley Committee will accept applications for summer extracurricular activity allowances through this Friday (6/26). You will find forms and information on the Johnson O’Malley – JOM: CTWS info page on Facebook.

The Patricia Valian Reser Center for the Creative Arts and the Division of Extension and Engagement at Oregon State University are now accepting submissions for the PRAx Open, a juried exhibition showcasing original artwork from across Oregon. Artists are invited to submit traditional, emerging, or new‑media works that reflect the landscapes, cultures, histories, and communities of the places they call home. Submissions are free. Applicants must be current Oregon residents, and AI‑generated artwork is not eligible. The deadline to apply is July 1. Learn more and submit your work at PRAX.oregonstate.edu.

• The Pi-Ume-Sha Treaty Day Powwow is this Friday, Saturday & Sunday (6/26-28) in Warm Springs. Grand entry times are 7pm Friday, 1pm Saturday and 1pm Sunday. For powwow information contact Robinson Mitchell 541-325-2968. Vendors can contact Sharon Katchia 541-295-6046.
• The Pi-Ume-Sha Traditional Parade “Honoring the Horses” is on Saturday (6/27). Lineup for participants will start at 10am with judging at 10:15. The parade begins at 11 at the campus and ends at the powwow grounds. Categories for judging are walkers, traditional & contemporary floats and horse riders in adult, teen and youth divisions. • The Pi-Ume-Sha Treaty Days Open Rodeo is Saturday & Sunday (6/27-28) starting at 1pm both days at the Warm Springs Rodeo Grounds. Admission Saturday is $20 per vehicle. Sunday will be the Youth Open Rodeo and entry is free. Today is the last day for rodeo entries – books close after today.
