New Options at MHS this year

At Madras High School about 150 freshman have been attending school this month of a possible 180 incoming students.  They have been doing academic work in the mornings and have had opportunity to do sports or other extracurricular activities after noon.   High School age students in the 509J district were assigned placement last May in either Madras High School, the New Bridges alternative high school or the Warm Springs ROOTS program.  Counselors will be back next Wednesday.  You can call the high school at 475-7265.  If you questions about Bridges or ROOTS – call 475-4820.
