The 3rd Annual Veterans Summit in Warm Springs is coming up November 3rd. The summit, which will be held at the Community Center, will offer assistance to Veterans and their families. Resource Teams who will be a part of the Veteran’s Summit include the VA Portland Medical Center, Native Wellness Institute, Oregon State Department of Veterans Affairs, VETS Employment & Training Services just to name a few. It’s a free event

An upcoming Timber Tour for the Tribal public will offer a look at proposed harvest areas for the Triple Butte Timber Sale. It’s an opportunity to provide input and learn about timber sales put together by Natural Resources Foresters. The Timber Tour is set for November 9th leaving the Tribal Administration Building at 9am.

Oregon State University has released the largest oral history project ever conducted in the school’s nearly 150-year history. The product of more than four years of work, The OSU Sesquicentennial Oral History Project consists of more than 400 hours of transcribed video and audio recordings with more than 200 alumni, faculty, staff and current students. The collection is available online.
