Slockish Honored by Chamber

The Madras-Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce 2015 Annual Awards Banquet was held Thursday evening, September 17, 2015, at the Erickson Aircraft Collection at Madras Airport.  During the event Suzie Slockish of Warm Springs was honored as the Senior Citizen of the Year.  Suzie is a language teacher at Warm Springs Culture and Heritage where she shares her knowledge of language, culture and traditions.  She is someone who applies traditional practices in her everyday life.  Congratulations to Suzie Slockish for her recognition by the Madras –Jefferson County Chamber as Senior Citizen of the Year!
