The Jefferson County 509-J school board announced, at their regular meeting, Monday April 10, 2017, that Ken Parshall has been hired as the district’s new superintendent.
Parshall has served as the principal of the Warm Springs K-8 Academy since the start of the 2015 school year and will remain in that capacity for the next two years – as well as serving as 509-J Superintendent.
Parshall says that will be a challenge, but he wants to make sure that positive momentum continues at the school on the Warm Springs Reservation.
