Warm Springs Tribal Council is looking to fill a number of enterprise board of director positions.  There are openings for the Warm Springs Composite Products Board of Directors, Warm Springs Power and Water Enterprise Board of Directors, the Warm Springs Tribal Employment Rights Office Commission, and the Warm Springs Tribal Credit Board of Directors.  There are both Tribal Member and non member positions available.  For more details or to apply – contact Emily Yazzie at Warm Springs Tribal Council.  Letters of interest and a resume should be submitted no later than June 23rd.  Applicants will be required to do a criminal background check and credit check.

St. Charles Madras is about to complete phase 2 of their expansion and will soon enter the third phase.  Starting this coming Sunday, the new expansion of emergency services, surgical services, and diagnostic imaging services will be complete. The third phase of this project includes the remodel of the existing space and moving the laboratory inside the building.  For phase three folks should know that the new emergency entrance at the Northeast Corner of St Charles Madras should be used for Emergencies, Surgeries, the Family Birthing Center and for hospital admissions.  For Lab, Imaging, Rehab, Outpatient Services and Visitors – you should use the Rehab Entrance during regular business hours.

Police say the man charged in last month’s triple stabbing aboard a Portland light-rail train is a suspect in a January stabbing outside a doughnut shop. Portland police said Friday that 35-year-old Jeremy Christian is ‘a main suspect’ in the stabbing that happened Jan. 27 outside Voodoo Doughnut in downtown Portland. The 40-year-old victim was stabbed in the back. He was taken the hospital with an injury that was not life-threatening.
