Water Update Fri., May 17, 2019

Repairs to the water main break along Shiike Creek were completed last night around 11pm and water was restored to the campus area.  They will be flushing the system south of Shitike today and taking water samples for testing.

The  boil water order remains in effect for those in Warm Springs on the Agency Water System.   The order will be in place until the EPA gives approval for it to be lifted.  There will be additional water testing done on Monday and so the order will be in place until at least Tuesday.

Folks should boil water for use by bringing water to a rolling boil for three minutes to use for cooking, drinking, brushing teeth and washing dishes.

Drinking water distribution today will be limited to senior citizens and families with babies who use water for formula.  That limited distribution is at the old Warm Springs Elementary School Library.

Warm Springs Early Childhood Education will remain closed until the boil water order is lifted.
