2020 Homeless Count Suggested Items
Items are now being collected for the 2020 Warm Springs Point in Time Homeless Survey. You can provide for those in need who are currently experiencing homelessness by contributing useful items that can be dropped with Martha at the Commodities Building or Buffy at the Family Resource Center.
During the 2019 Pi-Ume-Sha Health Fair more than 48% of respondants said that more than one family lives in their home. You can reading some of the statistics around homelessness HERE.
The Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs Branch of Health & Human Services is operating a temporary warming shelter for folks who are homeless or who lack resources for heat this winter. Evenings when the temperature falls below 32 degrees – the Warming Shelter operates 6pm – 8am at the old Warm Springs Elementary in space adjacent to the gym. The entrance is on the side next to the basketball courts.
