KWSO Calendar for Thu., Jan. 29, 2026

The Warm Springs Mt. Hood Meadows trip is set for Monday, February 2nd. We need to get the list of who is going so if you haven’t signed up yet – we have forms at KWSO but also online. If you want to participate, get your forms in!

The Madras Community Food Pantry will be open 10am to 1pm today. It’s located on the Culver Highway.

The Life Raft Food Pantry located at 401 5th Street in Maupin serves the surrounding areas by providing food at no cost to the community Thursdays from 10AM – 3PM.  The Dufur School Pantry is open to students and community members Thursdays from 4:30-6:30pm in the Home Ec Room at Dufur School. And the Neighbor-to-Neighbor Food Pantry on Emigrant Street in Wamic is open on the first and third Thursday of the month from 1-4pm.

At the Senior Center – there is Senior Fitness Class this morning 10:45 to 11:45 with a lunch for participants after.

On the Madras High School athletics schedule today – Girls Wrestling has a dual meet at Culver High School.

Tomorrow (Jan. 30) is the deadline for Warm Springs Housing Authority waitlist updates. The “Statement of Continued Interest” must be filled out and returned no later than 4pm tomorrow. Failure to do so will result in removal from the Housing waitlist. If you didn’t receive your update in the mail, contact the Housing office.

509-J students have no school tomorrow (Jan. 30) or Monday (Feb. 2).

The Boys & Girls Club will be open 8am to 5pm tomorrow (Jan. 30). They won’t have meal service so be sure your child is all set for breakfast and lunch.

The Community Center’s Breakfast Club provides breakfast on no-school days from 8:30-9:30am.

The Mountain Star Resource Bus will be in Warm Springs tomorrow providing diapers, wipes & other supplies for families who are registered with their program. It will be parked at the Community Center from 10:30-2:30 on Friday.

Listen to KWSO tomorrow night for Madras White Buffalo basketball. The Madras girls are hosting Henley. You can hear the varsity game live on KWSO. Tip-off is at 7.

The Miss Warm Springs Pageant is coming up this Saturday (Jan. 31) at 10am at the Agency Longhouse.

Warm Springs community members can fill containers with drinking water for free every Monday at the Hydro Panel Facility – which you will find next to the old Vehicle Pool building in the Industrial Park. It’s open Mondays from 8-5.

The annual Sweetheart Sale at the Community Center is on February 6th 9am-3pm. Call 541-553-3243 to reserve a table.
