  • Warm Springs Christian Fellowship meets this morning at 10 at the Senior Center.
  • The Warm Springs Baptist Church has Sunday School at 10:00 and Worship Service at 11:00 this morning.
  • The Warm Springs Food Bank is located at the Presbyterian Church. They are open from 11:30-1:30 today after services.  All food banks and pantries do take donations of non-perishable food or cash

A General Council Meeting on the 2020 Tribal Budget will be held tomorrow Night at 7pm at the Agency Longhouse.  Dinner will be at 6pm.

11/22 Friday November 22nd is the last day you can enroll for your supplemental insurance as an employee of the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs. Benefits they have available are: Term Life Insurance and Accidental Death & Dismemberment, Critical Illness Insurance and Accident Insurance. You can enroll online at wstribes dot ease dot com https://wstribes.ease.com Contact Human Resources for your username and password.

11/22 If you have the Tribes Group Health Insurance through Health Comp, you are required to fill out an “Other Insurance” Questionnaire. This helps to prevent hold up of claims processing. Please fill them out and email them to carol dot funk at wstribes dot org carol.funk@wstribes.org They need to be turned in by the end of the day on Friday November 22nd.

Childbirth Education Class is Wednesdays from noon – 1pm at the Family Resource Center.  This is a 3 week series that focuses on Pregnancy – Labor & Delivery – and Mom & Baby Care.  To learn more or find out when the series starts, contact Allie Anderson, MCH Nurse at 541-553-2460.

The Warm Springs Community Action team is hosting a three day Financial Education Opportunity this week – Wednesday thru Friday, 9am – 4pm each day at the Agency Longhouse.  They will offer the entire Financial Skills for Families class over the three days.  The class is a requirement for Oregon IDA initiative clients.  If you need to make up part of the series – Check in with Nettie at the Community Action Team Office at 553-3148.  There will also be a chance to participate in the Vital Tribal Economies Survey.

Native Hip Hop Performer Supaman will be at the Warm Springs K-8 Academy on Friday November 22nd with 2 student assemblies and then a Community Presentation at 4pm.

Items are now being collected for the 2020 Warm Springs Point in Time Homeless Survey.  You can provide for those in need who are currently experiencing homelessness by contributing useful items that can be dropped with Martha at the Commodities Building or Buffy at the Family Resource Center.  https://kwso.org/2019/10/help-the-homeless/
